Sorry, but I’m still not sure what point you’re trying to make. My introduction sets up the reasons why Ariana was the hot topic at the time I wrote it in 2019. The controversy over Manchester Pride was one of them. I don’t think it was necessary to detour into the reason why she was chosen to headline in order to make the point I wanted to make. Anyway, I’m happy with the story, and judging from the continued response to it nearly a year and a half after I wrote it, the story has all the set-up it needs. Thanks for reading.
