So let me get this straight. Someone who has no children has no authority to write about what he observes on TV, and then explicitly say in his headline that he hopes it doesn’t reflect reality? OK, gotcha. As for sitcom life vs. real life, considering that writers of comedy often draw from their own experiences, and parenting in comedies created by white people is markedly different from parenting in comedies created by black people (which is the crux of this article), I think my thesis is a perfectly valid one, regardless of the personal experience of one person, yourself.
