If you don't think Rogan is racist, even subconsciously, you might want to seek out the video where he refers to a room full of Black people as "Planet of the Apes." It's weird that most recent discussions of him focus solely not he N-word mash-up, which I find more annoying than offensive, and not on his "Planet of the Apes" comment. It's moments like this and not the use of the N-word in a conversation about the N-word that reveals what's really going on beneath the surface of a person who touts himself as not being racist. I would encourage White people to spend less time telling the world they aren't racist and more time thinking about what they say - and think - that might suggest otherwise.

Furthermore, White people using the N-word has never been acceptable to Black people. It just took White people a really long time to catch on... or care.
