I don’t have to "study" parenting to know how tough and thankless it is. There are always people like you who are all too eager to offer their smug, unsolicited take on the nobility of parenthood to set us clueless, ungrateful, childless folks straight. And the fact remains that unless you are my own mother or the mother of my children, the toil and sacrifices of your motherhood are none of my business.
