I enjoyed reading this. Putting White comfort above everything else — which is the cornerstone of anti-CRT activism and the so-called pandemic of anti-Whitness many Medium writers and commenters love to whine about — underscores White supremacy. What people in racial and ethnic minority groups feel and experience every day doesn’t matter as long as White people can hold their heads high and feel good about themselves. To quote the great singer-songwriter John Mellencamp, “Ain't that America.”
