I agree with you, James. I think these conservative parents, as usual, are using their kids as a convenient excuse in order to make themselves seem more noble. As for Rice, I've already written about what I think is the motivation for many Black conservatives, so I'll leave it at that. I just wish someone who is supposed to be so brilliant had brought more scintillating ideas to the table. It's almost like she borrowed Megyn Kelly's brain for the day.
