Hey, Jake. Thanks for the kind words. Sarajevo is pretty breathtaking, definitely an unsung treasure. I book all of my apartments through Booking.com and Agoda.com. I find the European options are better on those sites than on Airbnb, which never seems to lead me to satisfying accommodations. The city center and the old town, which are adjacent to each other, are definitely the places to be. It all seems a bit overwhelming at first because the mountains that surround it make it look more massive than it actually is. If you come this way, you should also check out Belgrade, and if you do, definitely travel by bus as the natural scenery between Sarajevo and the Bosnia/Serbia border, is spectacular. For a lot of it, you drive through mountains. The Balkan countries are pretty amazing.
